Natural Longevity Tips

So, how is she accomplishing this magnificent feat of maintaining her youthful vigor, ageless beauty and radiant health? She credits it to her nutritional regimen. She began adding natural organic fruits and vegetables into her daily diet plan. She then began eating more and more of then in their natural raw state. What that does is gives you the whole profile of vitamins, minerals and co-factors, particularly the enzymes that are lost when cooked. It’s those some enzymes that become deficient as we age, so we don’t get the nutrition out of those foods, only the calories.

Adding Fruits and Raw Vegetables to Your Diet

Does adding fruits and raw vegetables really slow the aging process in the body? It appears that way. One thing that I have noticed personally is that when I include raw vegetables and fruits into my daily diet (along with drinking alkaline ionized water), is that my skin gets clearer, my eyes get brighter, my energy is higher and my mind is clearer. I can even workout longer with more pep.

 

The key is to alkalize your body! Alkaline Water and most organic green vegetables are alkaline. Disease can’t live in an alkaline body, it needs an acidic body. It can help your cells age a lot more slowly as acid shortens cell life. Make sure you get organic if you possibly can. I get all the enzymes, vitamins, minerals and anti-aging co-factors in a way that tastes good and is filling. I recommend Dr. Murray’s book on Juicing Recipes as a great starting point. I now do this almost every morning and my body is looking and feeling better than it has in years. And I’ve always worked out regularly, so just the juicing has helped me tone up (my body and skin). 

 

It’s been proven that GMO’s (Genetically Modified Organisms) are made by injecting a virus with pesticide creating bacteria inside of a seed. This virus continues to replicate and produce pesticide inside your intestines if you eat them. It leads to leaky gut syndrome, chronic inflammation all types of chronic diseases. It results in almost instant wheezing and the inability to catch your breath. It can be a severe condition requiring emergency medical attention if you don’t have any asthma drops or an inhaler handy. It can be aggravated by participating in sports and exercise routines particularly when it’s smoggy outside or there are other particles in the air like smog, cigarette smoke, dust, pollen or pet dander (their dead skin cells).

 

Professional athletes have to prepare themselves for this and often take classes in meditation and breathing exercises for asthma to condition the airways and lungs to not react negatively to the need for more oxygen. Even Jackie Joyner-Kersee resorted to using an inhaler after she won a race. There are much better methods to deal with asthma prevention and treatment.

 

Asthma – Exercise Induced Prevention

Asthma during sports or exercise caused by histamines (things that cause your body to react negatively to substances and causes your body to have an immune response). This leads to your airways becoming inflamed and swollen, limiting the amount of air you can inhale into your lungs, just when you need it the most! If you panic you will make it even worse. The most common symptoms you might notice are:

  • Wheezing while you’re running
  • Tightness in the chest area
  • Chronic cough or throat irritation
  • Itching skin particularly around the throat area
  • A sudden feeling of discomfort (an imminent attack)

The best way to prevent or stop an asthma attack is to train your body not to react to the histamine or substance creating the negative reaction in your body.Fortunately there are some exercises and techniques you can use to help prevent attacks from happening in the first place.

Exercise for Asthma Control

Emotional Freedom Technique can be a good tool to learn. It involves sensitivity training (EFT Tapping) can be a positive way to help you not react to the sensation of an attack and stop it before it even starts. It involves breathing deeply and tapping on specific points on the body to desensitize them from reacting negatively during your exercise or sporting event. Learn how to meditate and maybe take a tai chi or yoga class because it trains you to have that mind body connection to allow greater control of your own body so when faced with a health issue you can calmly respond instead of instinctively react and continue what you want to do. Whether you run marathons, run triathlons, run to compete or just for the superior health benefits, then it is important to protect your knees. Your knees are the weakest link and the most vulnerable to the stress and impact of running (or even power walking).

 

Protect your knees, and they will keep you fit and active for a whole lifetime. What good is 5 years of running followed by the rest of your life behind a walker or in constant severe pain. Not a good long-term idea and I’m going to show you what you can do to save yourself from knee arthritis or runner’s knee.

 

Protect Knees From Shock

There are a few things you can do to not only protect your knees but also to actually excel when you do run. You don’t need to sacrifice knee pain for winning your competition or staying fit and lean. Here are some things you will want to consider to lessen the impact of running or power walking:

 

Pre-Workout (Before a Run or Power Walk)

  • Massage Your Knees (Rub your knees with the palm of your hands for at least 30 seconds each)
  • Warm Up (perform a few bent-knee squats before you run)
